Luisa Abenza

Luisa Abenza is a level III professional tracker and an official trainer for Cybertracker Conservation. She is co-president and a founding partner of SIRA (Iberian Tracking Society). She has worked as a professional tracker in Africa and Europe. She has published several articles, both on the subject of tracking and on nature conservation, having also been a contributor to the magazine Quercus with a section on signs and tracks.

Although she is a forestry technician, her true school has been in the field. Born in Murcia, she settled in Soria where she has lived for years in a cabin in the middle of nature without access to running water or electricity. Living in tune with nature and very well accompanied by the animals with whom she shares her life, she has found a way to connect with the natural environment, making tracking something much deeper than her profession.

After more than 12 years of research into the identification of bird tracks, Luisa was able to gather enough information to prepare a manual whose content had barely been explored.
