The particular characteristics of the Zoo lead many species of birds to find food and refuge, establishing themselves there or stopping over on their migratory routes. The book covers in an accessible way the phenology of all the species of wild birds observed at the Zoo. It also includes an ornithological guide to the Zoo, to encourage the reader to observe and to renew his perceptions of our environment. Almost all the photographs are taken at the Zoo.
