His commitment to the dissemination and protection of natural heritage has made him a leading figure in the study and conservation of birds in the Iberian Peninsula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has participated in numerous international projects and is the author or co-author of a wide range of scientific publications, books, and field guides.
